From an online-only small fidget jewelry business to showcasing at Paris Fashion Week, words can't describe how surreal it is to see how much this company has blossomed.
That's right, CONQUERing is attending Paris Fashion Week! Keeping this secret hasn't been easy and we are buzzing with excitement that we are finally able to announce the news.
From the creation of our runway show to behind-the-scenes footage, we'll be taking you with us every step of the way. In case you're unfamiliar with what Paris Fashion Week is, we'll start with a brief history of the show.
What is Paris Fashion Week?
For centuries, Paris has been the epicenter of fashion. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, fashion houses in Paris would hold very private, individualized shows to debut their looks for the season. There was a fear of designs being stolen between competing fashion moguls.
It wasn't until post-World World II that things started to change for the fashion industry. Regulations on fashion shows paired with the pressure of New York City's rising fashion scene encourages houses to debut their seasonal looks in one show.
In 1973, the first official Paris Fashion Week occurred. The Fédération de la Couture was formed, and still to this day puts on Paris Fashion Week. The theme of the first show was the Battle of Versailles and it featured five French designers against five American designers.
From then on, more designers began joining and the show continues to get bigger and better. Now, Paris Fashion Week happens twice a year and features hundreds of designers.
A Small Jewelry Business's Journey to the Runway
Now that you know more about Paris Fashion Week, let's talk about how we are making our way to the runway.
We are attending Paris Fashion Week with Flying Solo, a global hub for top fashion boutiques based in New York City. Flying Solo started doing runway shows in 2016 with the intent to spotlight younger brands at major shows.
Each season during Paris Fashion Week, they open applications to rising independent artists that they call Ones to Watch. Their panel of designers carefully review hundreds of applicants from around the world to decide who will attend the show.
This year, we applied and were selected to showcase our fidget jewelry at Paris Fashion Week. This is an incredible honor and we could not be more grateful to Flying Solo for giving us the chance to showcase our looks at one of the biggest fashion shows in the world.
CONQUERing's Runway Show at Paris Fashion Week
While we can't reveal the theme or many details about our show just yet, we do want to talk a little bit about what you can expect and how the process works.
We put together a creative team of 6 members of the CONQUERcrew to create 8 looks that will walk the runway. While keeping our jewelry as the focus of each piece, this team is working tirelessly to ensure our show is cohesive and unique.
The theme of our show also aligns with the mission of our brand. When our show is revealed, everything will feel very CONQUERing. We will be showcasing our looks on October 2nd at Paris Fashion Week!
The Creative Minds Behind CONQUERing's Paris Fashion Week Runway Show
As we mentioned, there are 6 members of the CONQUERing Crew that are creating the 8 looks and the theme of our runway show.
This team is made up of diverse talent and has been working tirelessly for months to bring the show to life.
Over the next few weeks, we will be putting out a series of features on The Conquerer Blog that shares more information about each person on the creative team. We'll talk more about their role at CONQUERing, what their experience was like creating the looks for the show, and will share some sneak peeks!
How Paris Fashion Week Will Elevate the CONQUERing Brand
This truly is a huge deal for us and for all of our SuperFans. While we've done runway shows before and started to get our name out there, nothing will compare to the benefits of attending Paris Fashion Week.
Putting CONQUERing on the Global Map
The first benefit of attending Paris Fashion Week is that CONQUERing will officially be on the global map. It gives us a chance to get on the radar of fashion powerhouses.
This is also a chance for CONQUERing to make more connections in the fashion industry. After we attended Milan Jewelry Week, we made connections with other designers and were able to sell our jewelry at a pop-up show in New York. There is an opportunity for us to make connections with other industry professionals with the possibility of selling our fidget jewelry across the globe.
Empowering the Creative Minds Behind CONQUERing
Our mission of empowering individuals also extends to the people who work for the brand. Paris Fashion Week is an opportunity to showcase the immense talent we have on the CONQUERcrew.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for aspiring designers and creative professionals to make connections and show what they're capable of on a global stage. We have the chance to empower the CONQUERcrew to chase their dreams and receive recognition for all their hard work.

Attending Paris Fashion Week gives us a place to find inspiration and push the boundaries of what we ever thought was possible for our fidget jewelry business.
We will get ideas for new designs and types of jewelry to keep our brand innovative and fresh. This means more products and chic designs for our customers!
