The Everglade Cushion Vessel Element is handcrafted by artist Chelsey from Complementary Shop and takes monochrome texture in a completely unexpected direction. Inspired by the distinctive look of alligator skin, its hand-painted black and gray pattern fills the Cushion silhouette with intricate, tactile detail.
About the Collection:
"For this collection, I wanted to play with contrast and texture. The Ghost Orchids are all hand-painted so you can see the delicate detail of their petals, and the Everglades (also hand-painted) are left completely without resin so you can feel the texture. The Heirloom Blooms are a nod to our previous iterations in the Apothecary Collection and the Wedding Collection. They're just so beautiful, and I love their stark contrast!" – Chelsey
Unlike traditional resin-finished Vessel Elements, Everglade is intentionally left completely without resin, allowing you to actually feel the hand-crafted texture beneath your fingertips. Every piece is individually handcrafted with clay and sealed with a protective varnish, giving the bold pattern its own unique character.
