DIY Bezel Use Agreement

CONQUERing DIY Bezel Use Agreement V2

Effective Date: This agreement is currently in effect. New sections (1.6, 1.7, and 1.8) will go into effect on 6/1/2026.

At CONQUERing, we’re proud to support a vibrant community of creators who use our bezels to make meaningful, beautiful, and personal pieces. To preserve that spirit—and protect our artist partners, collaborators, and brand—we ask all customers to agree to the following terms when purchasing or using CONQUERing bezels.

We’ve chosen to keep this part of CONQUERing open and accessible, without licensing fees or barriers to participation. That openness is important to us—but it relies on everyone respecting the boundaries that make it possible.

By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

1.1 You may create elements that feature licensed or trademarked content (e.g., Disney, Harry Potter, sports teams, etc.) for personal use only. You may not sell or distribute these designs unless you have formal permission or ownership of the rights.

1.2 You may be inspired to emulate designs you’ve seen by CONQUERing Vessel Artists for your own personal use, but you may not sell designs that closely imitate work from past or present Vessel Artist collections.

Note: Simple one-inclusion designs (e.g., a single pressed flower or metal shape) are generally not considered imitation and are allowed.

1.3 You may not create and sell products that are currently available on our website or based on any sneak peek elements shared before their official launch.

1.4 Modification of Bezels

  • You may bend, reshape, or otherwise modify CONQUERing bezels for your own personal use.

  • However, you may not sell, distribute, or market:

    • Bezels that have been altered from their original form (including reshaping, bending, or other structural modifications), or

    • Any elements, jewelry, or other products made using modified bezels.

  • Any sale of modified bezels or creations made with modified bezels is strictly prohibited unless you have formal written permission from CONQUERing.

1.5 You may not present your creations as official CONQUERing products, or as part of a CONQUERing collection unless you have been formally hired, commissioned, or invited to collaborate by CONQUERing.

1.6 To avoid customer confusion and clearly distinguish independent creations from official CONQUERing products:

You must clearly identify yourself as an “Independent CONQUERing-Compatible DIY Maker” on:

  • Product listings

  • Sales posts (including buy/sell/trade groups)

  • Websites

  • Social media pages used to promote or sell your work

You must also include a clear and visible statement on any website or social media page where CONQUERing-compatible items are sold:

“CONQUERing® is a registered trademark of CONQUERing, and CONQUERing bezels and related systems are proprietary and protected by patents held by CONQUERing.”

1.7 CONQUERing Core Crystals

Certain crystals are considered core to the CONQUERing brand and may not be recreated in CONQUERing bezels for resale in any form, regardless of:

  • Cut or shape

  • Grade or quality

  • Color or features

  • Whether CONQUERing currently has the item in stock

The following 20 crystals are strictly prohibited for sale as CONQUERing-Compatible DIY Elements:

  • Abalone Shell

  • African Jade

  • Amazonite

  • Amethyst

  • Blue Lace Agate

  • Carnelian

  • Chrysoprase

  • Crazy Jasper

  • Gray Shell

  • Labradorite

  • Moonstone

  • Moss Agate

  • Mother of Pearl

  • Onyx

  • Peridot

  • Rose Quartz

  • Sodalite

  • Sunstone

  • Tiger’s Eye

  • Yellow Aventurine

These crystals may be set in a CONQUERing bezel for personal use but may not be sold.

1.8 CONQUERing offers certain components (such as bezels) specifically for DIY use. Only components designated by CONQUERing as DIY-compatible may be used to create items for resale.

Other CONQUERing elements—including but not limited to shape elements like the open circle and diamond, and crystal elements where the original crystals have been removed—are part of our finished jewelry system and are not intended for use in DIY products for resale.

These items may be used for personal creations, but may not be sold.

2. Harmful or Inappropriate Content

You may not use CONQUERing bezels to create, promote, or sell content that:

2.1 Includes racist, hateful, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory language or symbols
2.2 Depicts or encourages violence, self-harm, or harm to others
2.3 Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate for general audiences
2.4 Includes graphic or disturbing imagery
2.5 Violates the spirit of our inclusive, uplifting, and positive community

2.6 You may not publicly disparage the CONQUERing brand, its products, or its owners. Respectful feedback is always welcome, but harmful or defamatory remarks may result in the loss of access to DIY-related features or future purchases.

Note: CONQUERing reserves the sole right to determine what content violates these guidelines.

3. Enforcement & Consequences

3.1 If any of the above terms are violated, CONQUERing reserves the right to:

  • Restrict or refuse future purchases

  • Cancel any existing or pending orders

  • Decline future collaboration or promotional opportunities

3.2 All enforcement decisions are made at CONQUERing’s sole discretion.

4. Independent CONQUERing-Compatible DIY Makers

4.1 If you choose to become an Independent CONQUERing-Compatible DIY Maker and sell products compatible with our bezels or jewelry bases, you understand and agree that you are operating independently and at your own risk.

4.2 CONQUERing is not liable for any claims, damages, or legal issues that arise from your resale or business activities, even if your elements are compatible with CONQUERing products.

5. Agreement Changes

5.1 This agreement may be updated periodically. The current version will always be available on our website.

5.2 By continuing to purchase or use CONQUERing bezels, you agree to the most recent version of this agreement.
