Butter Jade, also known as Butterstone, is a type of Stromatolite from the Greenstone Belt of southern Africa, formed during the Archean Period and is over 2 1/2 billion years old. This unique stone is thought to bring calming energy and tranquility. Known for its soothing properties, this gemstone is often used to promote balance and harmony.

Butter Jade is also known to bring good luck, heighten awareness, and increase compassion while promoting a peaceful mind. The stone is associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra, which is thought to be the center of personal power and self-confidence.

This gemstone features a warm, buttery yellow-green color and is associated with:

Not Green?

When looking at the images, I expected this stone to resemble green but the one I received is more similar to a white or cream color. I’m confused and slightly disappointed. It’s still a beautiful stone, but I was looking forward to it being green as shown!
