In January, we launched a brand-new series on CONQUERing social media channels. The series is called the "Decades Styling Series."
We hired three stylists and three models to take on an ultimate fashion challenge. The stylists all chose one decade and were given a surprise decade that they had to create individual looks for using pieces they found at a thrift store paired with CONQUERing jewelry.
The photoshoots for each decade are being featured on CONQUERing's Instagram and fun video content can be found on CONQUERing's TikTok.
We had so much fun working with each stylist and model that we decided we HAD to feature them on The Conquerer Blog. In this series of blog posts, you will get to know more about the wonderful people that participated in the challenge as you watch it unfold on our social media channels.
Now, without further adieu, meet our first featured stylist, Annabella.
Meet the Stylist: Annabella
Annabella is one of the stylists we hired to participate in the Decades Styling Series. She is a student at the University of Cincinnati and is studying fashion design.
She got involved with CONQUERing and the challenge after a friend from fashion school suggested she apply to be a stylist.
We asked her some questions to learn more about her experience as a stylist, advice she has for people looking to get into styling, and where she hopes to see her future go!
How Did You Begin Your Career as a Stylist?
As we mentioned above, Annabella is currently a fashion student at the University of Cincinnati. However, her love for styling started long before college. She told us that styling is always something she's been passionate about.
The CONQUERing Decades Styling Series is actually her first professional styling experience:

Annabella truly conquered her decades during this challenge—we were so impressed to watch her thought process and see the end products of her styled-decades.
Where Do You See Your Career Going?
Since Annabella is still a student, we were curious to see where she sees her career as a stylist going. She let us know that she started her own business, Moon Angel, where she showcases pieces she's made and outfits she's styled. Annabella is already well on her way to pursuing a stylist career when she graduates.
Beyond her personal business, she told us the runway is truly where she wants to be. Seeing pieces she created and styled walking on a runway is the dream. In addition to the runway, Annabella told us, "[I]t is also a dream of mine to style music artists like Melanie Martinez of Chappell Roan one day!"
Any Advice for Readers Looking to Find their Own Style?
It's not always easy to figure out what your personal style is. Annabella had amazing advice to share about finding your own style:
"If you like it, wear it! Taking fashion risks has helped me the most with finding my style...Mix-matching patterns, colors, silhouette, and textures that you wouldn't expect to go together has led me to the most creative, expressive outfits."
It all boils down to stepping out of your comfort zone and being yourself. Trying new things and seeing what you like. She asserted that finding your own style and truly dressing for yourself is an amazing way to boost your confidence and feel enthusiastic about your wardrobe.

We also wanted to learn more about Annabella's experience with CONQUERing. We asked her about her favorite products and her experience working with the brand.
For her favorite CONQUERing product, she said she likes to pair the ViaDeco Ring Band with an Abalone Shell Octangle Crystal Element:
"I love how chunky the ViaDeco Ring Band is, it's the perfect ring band for getting a more maximalist ring style. The Abalone Shell is my favorite element, I love the iridescent look and the darker colors are perfect to match with anything."

We also wanted to know if she had any final thoughts to share with us about the challenge and her experiences working with the brand. She said once she was introduced to our products, she was hooked. She found herself telling her friends and family all about the products and encouraging them to get their own fidget jewelry.
"The positive impact that working with CONQUERing has left on me is so great. CONQUERing makes you feel so confident and present in life...it truly was love at first click!!!"
