Fashion trends are constantly changing. With the rise of social media, trends come and go much faster than they did even 10 years ago. As a jewelry brand, we conducted research into jewelry trends 2026 to make sure our product offerings bring new customers in, and reflect what our current customer base wants to wear.

Our Fall Design Intern, Via Nelson, conducted trend research to help with product development. We use that research as a starting point and put a CONQUERing spin on it to make sure it aligns with our brand. Functional, fashionable fidget jewelry that empowers the people who wear it will always be our priority.

Jewelry Trends for 2026 include:

  • Organic, asymmetrical shapes
  • Vintage textures & craftsmanship
  • Jewelry designed with intention
  • Nostalgic colors & bold combinations
  • Personalization that tells a story
  • Mixed metals & maximalist styling

What Were the Jewelry Trends in 2025?

Jewelry in 2025 was really all about expression. The hunt for unique pieces that would stand out and spark conversation was on.

Here are five trends we noticed—some of which we participated in—in 2025:

  • Brooches. Brooches really made a comeback in 2025. Some jewelry brands started producing their own brooches that were inspired by those of the early 1900s. Many people thrifted their own and added them to their clothes and accessories as a statement piece.
  • Bold gemstones. Gemstones have been a priority for CONQUERing for years now. Crystal jewelry adds color and interest to more classic jewelry. It is also believed to help with manifestation and healing. Bold, large gemstones were the rage in 2025, particularly in earrings. Our take on this trend was introducing new shapes and sizes of our beloved crystals, and launching all-new gemstones that were highly requested.
  • Medallion charms. Charm jewelry in general has made a comeback in the last couple of years. with a desire for self-expression and individuality, charm jewelry helps people tell a story about themselves with their jewelry. Coin-inspired medallion charms were especially popular in 2025 (our crafted metals are a good example of what these look like!)
  • Chunky jewelry. To fit with the push towards more bold pieces, chunky jewelry was especially popular in 2025. Inspired by jewelry of the 80s, people wore chunky bracelets, necklaces, and earrings to make their accessories stand out.
  • Vintage pieces. Vintage jewelry was the final trend we noticed in 2025. A lot of people uncovered hidden gems at their local thrift stores, or in their parents and grandparents jewelry boxes. Unique craftsmanship really was the hot choice for vintage jewelry. Some brands even created their own vintage-inspired jewelry that celebrates craftsmanship.

Many other jewelry trends came about in 2025. Some we think will carry on into the new year, while others will slowly disappear.

What Jewelry Trends Will Be Popular in 2026?

Via conducted research based on the trends from 2025, consumer behavior, and what she saw at Paris Fashion Week to predict what the trends of 2026 will be. These are all subject to change depending on how the year goes and we are so excited to check back in as the year progresses to see what stayed and what surprised us.

Organic & Asymmetrical Jewelry Trends for 2026

Via predicts that we'll see a drop off in rigid, geometric shapes that's found in more modern jewelry. There will likely be a return to asymmetry that mimics nature's imperfect beauty.

This is driven by the general consumer's desire for individuality and authenticity. We will continue to see people embracing their natural flaws and wearing things that make them stand out.

Vintage Textures and Details that Celebrate Craftsmanship

Vintage jewelry is a trend Via believes will continue into 2026. Jewelry will explore more textures and details that celebrate craftsmanship. This jewelry will drive people to want to touch it and spend time exploring all of the hidden and intricate details.

New pieces will have a modern edge that makes the jewelry feel both fresh and timeless.

Designing with Intention by Styling with Jewelry

Jewelry is going to surpass your typical accessory. People will begin to experiment with their jewelry as a means of altering clothes. They will use jewelry to change the shape, hold, or silhouette of their wardrobe.

This is inspired by the push towards designing with intention. Jewelry designers are looking for dual uses of their products. Jewelry will work with garments, not alongside them.

Nostalgic Color Palettes and Daring Combos that Push Uniqueness

With the rise of vintage jewelry comes a resurgence of nostalgic colors and patterns. We anticipate these will come from the early 2000s and 2010s and will show through glossy enamels, resin, and colored metals.

Jewelry designers will embrace unexpected pairings. From mixing bright and pastels to layering clashing patterns, jewelry will be colorful.

Personalized Jewelry Trends: Custom Charms, Engraving, and Self-Expression

This is trend that will continue into 2026. In 2025, we saw a lot of people looking for ways to personalize their jewelry—a method of creating one-of-a-kind pieces that spark conversation. We anticipate we'll see more engraving, custom charms, and personal pictures in jewelry.

Jewelry will continue to be a vessel for self-expression. People will be using it as a way to tell stories and to say something about who they are.

Mixed Metals that Defy Fashion Norms

This is another trend that will continue into 2026. More and more people will mix their gold and silver jewelry to create dynamic layering. In 2025, we launched our first mixed metal base with the Tria™ Mixed-Metal Ring Band that encouraged CONQUERing SuperFans to start experimenting with their jewelry.

Mixing metals encourages experimentation and feeds into the drive towards individuality. Layering different metal pieces can turn simple combinations into statements.

Maximalistic Styling that Fosters Experimentation

Say goodbye to minimalism in 2026. We anticipate that maximalism will take over as people continue to experiment with their jewelry. We'll see excessive jewelry placement and placement you wouldn't expect to draw attention to different parts of the body. Think brooches replacing buttons on a jacket.

Styling will become a creative act. We will also see people caring less about what others think. They will wear what brings them joy and makes them feel confident—regardless of what murmurs they might hear behind their back.

Elevated Basics that Establish Quiet Glamour

Finally, Via predicts we will see people using jewelry as a way to elevate basic clothing. Bold jewelry will be used to turn loungewear into a bold statement.

Elevated basics are both comfortable and confident. They are a new form of quiet glamour that will be hard to ignore.
