Known as the stone of compassion, peridot is believed to bring good health, restful sleep, and peace to relationships by balancing emotions and mind. Peridot is one of only two gemstones (the other being diamond) that are formed in molten rock, rather than in the Earth's crust, making it a unique and rare find.

It is always a distinct, vibrant olive green color, setting it apart from almost all other gemstones which can come in a variety of colors. Peridot is the birthstone for August and is known as the stone of compassion.

This crystal seems a bit soft and has a matte finish

My wife likes the color and earthiness of this crystal but is otherwise a bit disappointed with this element. It seems to scratch more easily than other crystal elements and the finish is matte, not shiny. Not that they all have to be shiny; it's just different than expected. That said, it has an open back that she says feels good against her skin.

Peridot was beautiful…gold band not so much.

I ordered these when they first came out and love the concept. I have multiple in silver and gold however the gold has started to wear and it does not look nice anymore. The silver still looks great.
