In case you didn't hear, CONQUERing is going to Paris Fashion Week! We announced a few weeks ago that we will be attending the show with Flying Solo—a global hub for fashion boutiques—during the Runway Show they host called Ones to Watch. The show is designed to showcase smaller, independent artists and brands on a global fashion stage. To learn more about the show and our journey to Paris, check out the announcement post

Our runway show will feature 8 dazzling looks that embody the CONQUERing brand and show off our fidget jewelry in a unique way. We haven't revealed the concept of our show just yet, but we can guarantee that you'll be impressed.

As we lead up to October 2nd, the day of our runway show, we wanted to introduce you to the creative minds behind the looks. We put together a creative team of 6 to work on the show and represent the brand. You might recognize some of the members, while others may be new to you because they work behind the scenes. By the end of this blog series, you'll know the creative team behind CONQUERing's Paris Fashion Week show and will be eagerly awaiting the concept reveal.

Meet Alex White: A Styling Sensation

You might recognize Alex from her modeling experience with CONQUERing. Some of her photos have appeared on our social media channels and on our blog. Alex started as a fulfillment specialist—helping Tammy put together orders at our headquarters. She then made the jump to social media, where she started as a social media coordinator and has worked her way up to social media specialist. All of the content you see on our social channels is because of Alex and her partner-in-crime, Ky.

Her role in the creative team is primarily styling. She worked closely with the other five members of the team to come up with the meaning behind the show. She also designed three of the eight looks that we will be showing on the runway. Her social media expertise has also come in handy as she's contributed to video editing for social content.

Alex's creative background comes from her lifelong experience as a dancer—she's used it to tap into her inner creativity. She told us, "I have been able to develop a sense of my artistry and creativity through my connection with dance." We've seen her on stage, and it's absolutely no surprise that she brought that bold, confident energy to the creative team.

The Paris Fashion Week Exposé—Favorite Parts, Unexpected Roadblocks, and a Peek Into the Creative Process

We asked Alex to share her experience so far working on the creative team. We wanted to know what her favorite part has been, if there have been any unexpected roadblocks that have popped up, and if she could share more about what she's most looking forward to for the rest of this process.

A Professional Dream Come True in Paris

Alex has been working with the company for a long time and has helped the brand get to where it is today. We couldn't be more thrilled to have her as a member of the creative team.

We asked Alex to share what was going through her head when she found out she would be joining us at Paris Fashion Week. She said, "Ahh, I was so excited!! I love working with the CONQUER Crew and couldn't wait to get started." As a professional dancer, global travel isn't new to Alex, but being able to show a different side of her creativity on one of the world's biggest stages is an exciting new opportunity.

Alex is excited to return to Paris and be surrounded by European culture. She is also looking forward to enjoying the experience with the rest of the Paris Fashion Week creative team.

Peer Into the Paris Fashion Week Creative Process

We were curious to know how the creative process has been so far for Alex. We wanted to know what her favorite parts have been, if there have been any unexpected challenges, and what she's looking forward to as we inch closer to October 2nd.

Alex told us that for her, the best part of working on the creative team started at the very beginning.

"Coming up with the show's story and then how it translated to clothes has been my favorite part. I love finding the intention and meaning behind art, so creating it was so fun."

Coming up with the show truly has been a unique process. The creative team worked together to develop a concept first, then had to figure out how to translate it into the 8 looks we get to showcase.

As a stylist, the biggest challenges for Alex came up with the creation of the looks. She told us that there is a lot to consider when coming up with a runway look. You have to make sure that all of the pieces showcase our fidget jewelry, that they fit within a certain color palette, that there's synchronicity among the looks, and that everything fits with the overall concept. Since she styled three of the eight looks, she had to make sure her outfits were cohesive with the other stylists' outfits while also showing off her unique style.

Finally, we asked her what she's most looking forward to as we continue to lead up to the show. She said, "I'm really looking forward to seeing the physical clothes and jewelry all together and all lined up. To really see everything we've created come to life!"

Paris Fashion Week Teasers and Content Still to Come

To finish out the feature, we wanted to know if there are any teasers Alex can share about the show. She told us, "I'd say expect to see yourself in each look. Each look has an aspect of yourself inside of it, and it'll be fun to see which ones everyone is drawn to. And also that each look has little details and hidden meanings that really bring its character/meaning to life, so be on the lookout for those too."
