In October 2025, CONQUERing walked the runway at Paris Fashion week. We were one of hundreds of independent fashion brands that applied for Ones to Watch, the Paris Fashion Week Runway Show hosted by Flying Solo. We were one of the groups chosen and were honored to be attending Paris Fashion Week with them! To learn more about the show and the lead-up to Paris Fashion Week, check out our announcement post.
Our runway show consisted of 8 unique looks that represent the CONQUERing brand and showed off our fidget jewelry on a global stage. The concept of the show focused on eight facets that represented CONQUERing's mission and the distinct traits that make a person unique.
This blog series will introduce you to the creative team behind the show. You may recognize some of the team members while others work more behind the scenes with CONQUERing. By the end of this series of features, you will know all of the creative team that worked on our Paris Fashion Week Runway show.
Meet Jake Nelson: The Product Development Daredevil
You probably don't need an introduction to this member of the creative team, but in case you're new to the brand, Jake Nelson is the Co-Creator and Director of E-Comm & Product Development of CONQUERing. Jake has been involved with CONQUERing since the very beginning, offering creative insight and support for his mom—Tammy Nelson–as she was founding the company.
Jake is very focused on product development associated with Paris Fashion Week. In addition to contributing ideas for the show's concept and helping with the looks, he worked tirelessly to make sure all products were ready for the show and everything went according to plan.
Jake truly is a self-starter. He taught himself how to do web design and is the man behind CONQUERing's product development. He oversees production and has a close relationship with our manufacturer to make sure all of our amazing fidget jewelry is available for our customers. Behind-the-Scenes of Paris Fashion Week—Favorite Parts, Unexpected Challenges, and a Peek Into the Creative Process

We were curious to hear how the Paris Fashion Week creative process has been so far for Jake. We asked him to share his favorite moments, if there were any unexpected challenges, and some final thoughts from the whole experience.
A Lifelong Goal and a Trip to the City of Love
Jake has been there since the very beginning of CONQUERing and is the creative mind behind so many products that our SuperFans love. He was a key component of the creative team for Paris Fashion Week.
We asked Jake to share what was going on in his mind when he heard the Paris Fashion Week news. Like Tammy, he already knew he was going to be working with the creative team, so his excitement really came from getting the rest of the team involved.
Jake was eager to return to Paris to attend the show. Jake is also a newlywed and told us, "I'm so excited to have my extremely supportive wife along with me. We've never been to Paris together!"
Pulling Back the Curtain of the Creative Process
We were also curious to hear if there was anything Jake could share about how the creative process was. We wanted to know what his favorite part was, what's been challenging, and anything else he wanted to share from the show.
Jake told us that his favorite part was uncovering the hidden talents of everyone on the creative team. The team was composed of many different backgrounds and diverse perspectives that created a very special synergy among members of the team. This is just the beginning for the creative team.
He also has a unique perspective on what was challenging for the process as the developer of our products:
"All of the back and forth with our manufacturer. They are fantastic and really hard working, but communication can be difficult, so there are plenty of roadblocks when it comes to design that you don't see coming. I LOVE doing it though; getting that final product right is so satisfying."
We couldn't be more grateful to have Jake as a member of the creative team—he is the reason that the products were available and are able to prove that fidget jewelry is worthy of being on one of the biggest fashion stages in the world.
In terms of what Jake was most excited for leading up to the show, he told us he was really just excited to see all of the hard work come together. This was truly a dream come true for him and the rest of the Conquer Crew. When he first started helping Tammy build the brand, he never thought Paris Fashion Week was something he'd be involved in.
Paris Fashion Week Exclusives and Final Thoughts

As the show wrapped, Jake shared some final thoughts from the whole experience. Jake said he won't forget the ideation process at the very beginning. He told us there was one night he and Tammy spent coming up with all the jewelry that would be included in the show with many of those pieces being some of his new favorite designs.
