The first cleansing method you can use for purple jade is running it under a stream of water. Water from the tap will work just fine. Hold your element under a stream of luke-warm water for a few minutes to wash away negative energy. You'll want to ensure your crystal is fully dry before you use it in your healing practice. You can either let it air dry or use a soft, clean cloth.
The next method you can try to cleanse your element is burying it in your garden. Crystals are products of the earth so it only make sense that you can use the earth to absorb negative energy. If you have a garden outside your house, this might be your preferred method. Bury your element in your garden for a day, rinse it off, then begin your practice.
The third method that's been used for cleansing purple jade is charging it with selenite. Selenite is a crystal that's revered for being able to cleanse other crystals. We have three selenite charing plate options if you don't already have selenite at home. You will just place your element on the charging plate for a few hours and allow it to absorb the negative energy.
The final method we recommend for cleansing your purple jade is submerging it in a saltwater solution. The element doesn't need to stay in the solution for long, a few minutes will work just fine. As with the first cleansing method, we recommend waiting until your purple jade is fully dry before using it in your healing practice.
You'll want to cleanse your crystal every month or so to remove any negative energy that it came into contact with through daily wear. You don't have to use the same cleansing method you use the time before, use whatever is easiest for you!
Begin Healing With Purple Jade
Now that you've removed the negative energy that your element is charged with, it's time to begin your healing journey. The first step to crystal healing, regardless of what crystal you're using, is to think about what doubts you have about the practice. Maybe you aren't entirely convinced it will work. Think about where those doubts are stemming from and allow yourself to fully trust the process.
Once you've worked through any hesitancies you have, you'll want to think about what you hope to accomplish with your healing practice. To do this, you'll set an intention for what you'd like the outcome of your journey to be. The intention should be specific and aligned with the associations we shared above for purple jade.
For purple jade, you might consider setting an intention to focus on smaller steps and celebrate small victories until you eventually make your dreams a reality. It could even be more simple than that—your intention could be to keep a calm and level-head when you experience setbacks to achieving your dreams.
Once you've crafted your intention, find a piece of paper and write it down. You'll want to be able to access this piece of paper in case you want to return to your intention and remember exactly what you set out to accomplish. Writing it down can also make it feel more tangible. Then, you'll take your purple jade crystal element in your hands and speak your intention into it. Make decisions and live your life with the intent to achieve your goals.
As time progresses, you might either accomplish what you set out to, or decide that your intention is no longer relevant.
