An Abalone is a type of mollusk that has a thick shell—the shell is what makes this crystal. It is believed that Abalone Shell has soothing and grounding properties. Stunning on both sides of the element!

This is a gorgeous element that looks elegant in the silver HexBar setting. A bonus: The abalone is on the back as well as the front of this element, and both sides are very different from the other. Thus, you kind of get two elements in one. Curiously...We think that the abalone on the back of ours looks like a tornado scene. We live in Central New York where tornadoes are very, very rare. However, NY state has had an unprecedented 16 tornadoes over the past week with one just 4 miles from us and another 7 miles away. Hmmm...let's hope our little abalone tornado wards off future twisters.
