
A few weeks ago, we shared the exciting news that CONQUERing is walking the Paris Fashion Week runway. We are attending with Flying Solo, a global hub for top fashion boutiques. We will be showing our looks at the Paris Fashion Week Runway Show they host called Ones to Watch. Learn more about the show and our journey to Paris in the announcement.
We will showcase eight looks that fit within an overarching theme related to the CONQUERing brand. While we aren't revealing the theme yet, just know that it is truly going to WOW you and the Paris Fashion Week attendees.
As we approach October 2nd, the day we walk the runway, we would like to introduce you to the creative team behind the show. The team may include some familiar faces, while others work behind the scenes. By the end of this blog series, you'll truly know the people behind CONQUERing's Paris Fashion Week runway looks and will be on the edge of your seat to learn the concept of our show!
Meet Tammy Nelson: CONQUERing's Fearless Leader
You likely don't need an introduction to the first member of our creative team, but in case you're new to the brand, Tammy Nelson is the founder and CEO of CONQUERing. Tammy started this interchangeable jewelry business to fulfill her personal goal of helping 3 million people feel empowered in her lifetime.
She is primarily focused on the concept, strategy, and product design for Paris Fashion Week. She is ensuring that the creative team is staying on track and everything is going according to plan. She is the face of CONQUERing and is the reason we are going to showcase our fidget jewelry on a global stage!
Tammy's professional background is in marketing. She knew she wanted to be a marketer since she was in High School and has spent her entire professional career working in various marketing roles. She has worked in executive marketing roles for many Fortune 500 companies and has applied her expertise to CONQUERing. The Paris Fashion Week Tell-All—Favorite Moments, Surprising Challenges, and a Look Into the Creative Process

We asked Tammy to share her thoughts on the Paris Fashion Week experience so far. We wanted to know what her favorite moments have been, anything she found challenging, and a look at what's to come as we lead up to the runway show.
The Beginning of the Creative Team and the Journey to Paris
Tammy is in a unique position because she wasn't chosen to be a member of the creative team. Instead, she took the lead to decide who the remaining five members of the creative team would be.
Because of this, she shared her thoughts on how she felt when she found out CONQUERing was going to Paris Fashion week:
"I just happened to be out to dinner with my husband, my son (CONQUERing co-creator), and his fiancée (now wife) when we got the news. I was truly just over the moon! It was the top goal on our 2025 bucket list, so it just felt amazing to be selected, and it was so fun to be with Jake in that moment."
Tammy is excited to return to Paris as an exhibitor at one of the biggest fashion events in the world. She told us, "I'm most excited for the runway show itself. To see the looks we've put together with all the new jewelry we've designed, on the world's biggest fashion stage is, well, a dream come true!"
A Look Inside the Creative Process
We also wanted to know how the creative process has been so far for Tammy. We asked her to share what her favorite part has been so far, what's been most challenging, and what she's most excited for leading up to the show.
As the leader of the creative team, it comes as no surprise that Tammy mentioned one of her favorite parts has been seeing the creative team work together. There are many diverse perspectives and a fearlessness that's she's noticed as the team has come together to build the show. They are very respectful of all ideas and are all pulling their weight as members of the team.

For Tammy, the most challenging part of Paris Fashion Week prep has been the development and manufacturing of products. Due to lead times from our manufacturer, the team has gotten creative in the design process and development of new products.
The SuperFans are what Tammy is most excited about as we lead up to the show. Our SuperFans are vital to CONQUERing, we wouldn't be where we are today without them. She even mentioned that there will be a first-of-its-kind Zoom call with SuperFans called "First Look Live: Paris Fashion Week Edition" where 100 SuperFans will get a behind-the-scenes sneak peek and will give their input on how to make the show the best it can be.
Paris Fashion Week Insider Scoop and Content to Come

To finish our feature on our first member of the Paris Fashion Week creative team, we asked if there were any teasers Tammy could share about the show. She said, "My daughter, Via, a member of the Creative Team, will be embellishing our final runway look with hundreds of real CONQUERing elements! It's going to be an incredible culmination of our concept, showcasing how multidimensional we each are, and how empowering it is to express one's whole self."
